Taylor's University Creative Arts Workshop (Pt 1)

On Thursday 30th October, we 3 Teratais (well, MOST of us) purposely came to school to attend our class trip to Karang Kraf in Shah Alam. When we reach school, we were informed that the Karang Kraf trip was cancelled to unknown reasons. Most of us just sat at the canteen dulan-ing after hearing this. A while later, Pn. Chang (did I get her name right?) came to inform us that we were going to Taylor's Unviersity College for a Creative Arts Workshop, which calmed us down a bit. So we departed at approx 7:45 in the morning. Ok, enough words, more pics right?

Music Connects, well Henry and Ban Joo lah

My Apologies

Sorry, I didn't update for a while cause my computer crashed. It happened on Saturday, I was chiong-ing my C&C 3 game to test my turtling skills (it means base defending for those who were wondering). Half-way into the game my computer all of a sudden just hanged displaying a vibrant blue screen of immenent doom. So, I tried the Task Manager, which failed and then I try to swap programs and the taskbar menu, both which wasn't responding. I was left with no choice but to reset the computer. I left it to cool for a nice 30 minutes a then tried again. This time, the monitor didn't respond but the keyboard and mouse did. Unfortunately, because the computer's "safety feature", because the monitor wasn't responding, so did the rest of the components. I panicked and told my mom (who else??) about this problem. Next day, we went to Court's Mammoth to diagnose the problem. The "Dr. Digital" there told us that our CPU DVI port (graphics card) was faulty. So, we tried finding for a converter all around The Curve and Cineleisure to change the VGA port to DVI, which we couldn't find. Thankfully, the day after my mom found out that our warranty hasn't expired yet and call for the technician. And now, my blogging may resume. Yay!!

Wedding Luncheon

Today, I had to miss the 1U outing to attend to a wedding luncheon at KL City. Relax, relax it's not me. Turns out that my distant aunt is married to a Brit, which was rather suprising. The Brit, named Paul (I can't give you his full name, identity safety, you know) had a 18 year-old daughter, Anna, and man are they tall... (well sorry for being short) Back to the topic, Anna is really a different person I thought Brit's were. For instance, she learns French last year, took this year off as a "holiday", and almost complety forgets everything she learnt, odd really. Not to mention, she isn't fond with the computer, which was really a jaw dropper. So for the luncheon, I was sitting with the "big boys and girls". So, two of my cousins, one 21 and married and the other which is 18, had a challenge to see who can drink more wine. They kept asking the waiter to refill the other one's cup when they're not around. After a mere two cups (I'm just saying), my 18-year old cousin had to bow out as her face was turning blushing red. So we, the people at that table labelled the 21-year old the devil for "torturing" her or better known as "Satan". He just coolly replied saying: " If I'm not wrong, Satan is a fallen angel, so I shouldn't have a tail nor horns nor the pitchfork. Because he is an angel, he should be leng zai, very handsome wan, and have a nice clean, white suit. Honestly, he's damn smart, and a good drinker. I think that's it, can't wait to play my game again. Signing out.

PMR is over!!

A bit tough to believe that PMR's over, honestly I don't feel much happier/ more free... After school, Henry and friends all went to play some basketball (haven't we all heard that?). So, they all go qiong me go play some ball but I refused, stating that I "have a date" with technology, in short, the computer. In return, they all zha gao me for not joining them, but who cares?? I mean I haven't been allowed to touch the computer since JULY, and that is a long way before the big event. So I balik, do regular day stuff, then spend the rest of my afternoon and evening on the computer. I was so engrossed into the game (C&C 3: Tiberium Wars) that after several missions, I look at the clock and realised I played for SIX AND A HALF-HOURS non-stop. Well, it may not seem long to some of you, but this was a new record for me. Then, I went out for dinner outside. Once I got down from the car, my body felt jumpy and I was flanking while walking, must be the radiation taken after 6 hours...

Soooo frustrated

Today, the HitZ Ford Ranger Cruisers came to my school!! It was damn cool, they were free Sting drinks, 4 funky dudes, and a whole lot of freebies!! One of the freebies that caught my eye was the "Good Living" shirt and *drum roll* FREE FOR TWO "Traffic Jam" tickets featuring Daughtry!!! I was so determined to get the tickets. So we had a contest, the "opposite game", involving words that differ from the action (e.g. big is putting your hands close together and small is otherwise). So the last three was Derek Alexander, Me and Joyce Wong. The HitZ Ranger, named "I forgot what" asked us to lat ( you know 'lat ta li, lat ta li tam plong!' that lat). Whoever gets the same with him is out. So, Derek was eliminated, leaving me and Joyce. I was so tensed that my heart was pounding like it can jump out of my chest any moment. So, we had our backs facing each other, and we did the "Birds, Rock and Water" game, with funny movements. I was leading 1-0 when disaster struck. I suddenly just spaced out and gave the other three rounds away... She was so damn happy, and I was so damn stupid (I actually swaped choices 3 times in a row to let her win). So, we got a picture with the Cruisers, and they're gonna post it soon lor. Anyways, it was just RM800 bucks worth as free tickets right, *sob* just 2 darn pieces of paper which cost RM800 T_T. I wish she could hand me one and hopefully not find this post... So frustrated that I couldn't imagine what would happen if I gotten those two slips of paper... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my luck

My parents are the "very strict, education ALWAYS comes first" type, so you guessed it, I can't touch the computer until the end of PMR. I mean it's 4 months and you want me to study now? Well, against them resistance is futile, not to mention if you try to bargain it will most likely get worst. So, I am currently under the "radar" posting this. But to think about it, me knowing me, I think it's better to shut me away from the computer. I mean, I am the eldest among my extended family in my father's side and the second eldest at my mother's. So I am the benchmark for all my cousins and siblings. My relatives expect more from me since my UPSR was so dissapointing ( I got 4 A's by the way, 2 B's for both my paper 2s and nearly FAILING Chinese ). I am damn pressured now, then there's scouts ( coz I wanna get Maju at least )and there's guitar for I am taking my exams next year ( though it's pretty far from now, I suck at guitar and don't want to let my teacher down ). So, this will be the last post for practically the next 4 months... Wish me luck...

I Love My Ver. Ka!!

Here's all the pics of my Gundam model that took me up to a rough accumulation of 48 hours. I suffered from agonising fingers and a swollen thumb due to SOS - Scissors Overuse Syndrome...

Anyways, here are the pics:

Highlights for 2-6 June

Hey, sorry for the sudden inactiveness. I had lots of stuff going on. My parents restricted me from using the PC till I habis my stupid project, not to mention there was the house cleaning, and the Ver. Ka that I just got (go ask a mecha dude that like Gundam, if you even know what THAT is). So, back to work.
Random Flashback

It was around 2 weeks ago, in school. Henry was talking about to me about this artist, named Florida. I was puzzled and asked for the song title. He asked: Don't you know the song "Low"?? Thats when I told him that is was Flo Rida, not Florida. So he the asked me for Flo Rida's "Low" lyrics. So I told him: "Ok, its Apple Bottom jeans, boots with the fur th......." As any typical ham lou, he got boots mistaken for, you know (use your imagination). So I corrected him and we were laughing about it like retards. Then, Jasmeen came to Henry's seat, and said "Hi". Henry, with a slip of his ham lou tounge said : "Yo, wassup big b**bs". The three of us just stoned there. I slapped my head as Henry realised what he unknowingly said and went "Oh, shit..." Jasmyn just replied with a typical " I won't talk to you anymore" and walked off. Henry was running out of his mind, man.

Something you may not know

They say "go with the best of both worlds". But, if for example you say "Don't" and "Stop", won't the "best of both worlds" phrase be "don't stop"??

Highlights for 19-29 May

Random Flashback
Back about 3 years, it was like any ordinary day, going back to kampung to visit my grandparents. When I was there, my grandfather bumped into his old friend, so we went to his house. He was nice and treats his house like a chicken farm, maybe because it is... He then gave us a rooster and a hen as a "thank you" present. It was awkward, but I was really excited. So we had to tie the chickens' leg to a brick so it won't escape. It was cruel but we had no choice. The next day, I was awakened to the sound of the rooster, followed by some shouting coming from below. So, I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to see what was going on. To my surprise, the rooster was on a very old and tall cabinet and my parents were trying to shoo it down. Eventually, the rooster flew out of the house, into the garden. But before doing so, it left a parting gift, crap (literally)... So we had to clean the cabinet up and tie the rooster to something else. Unfortunately, the rooster was eaten a few days later when we were asleep, by an iguana (hard to believe, huh).

Something you may not know

What a day...

Man, yesterday was a damn tough day... So many unlucky stuff happened. First, I fell on my bottom when playing basketball, so I am currently posting this with a bum on my a**. Next, I nearly fell asleep during my tuition exams and lost track of time so I rushed last-minute. Then, some stupid rat pooped on my bamboo which I so tiredly dragged from Alpha Court back to my home. Plus, I accidentally deleted my beloved Counter Strike. Finally, I had DRIED SOUP for dinner. Arggh!!

Counter Strike: Source Revisited

After the long, tiring, brain-racking exams, I can finally touch the computer!! So I tried my Counter Strike skills again. At first, I was a bit rusty, eventually humiliating myself against bots on "easy" AI setting. Thankfully, I also got a couple of never-done-before knife kills, yea man I'm back! Here the four knife kills I scored.

My first and 2nd kill,

third and fourth (a la suicide knifer)

Holy S**t

I have been trying hard to gain weight (ironic isn't it) for the past few weeks. I wanted to add body mass via muscle, NOT fats... So I did lots of pumping, sit-ups and some other wierd methods (like clinging onto the ledge in my house from the stairs to do chin-ups). I decided to test the effectiveness of my training method and checked my weight. For your information, I was 49 kg (I presume light). Now, to my surprise, it's 46kg! What's happening to me?? I'm getting lighter and lighter as time goes by, and that's not good to me. It seems that I lose weight when I want to gain weight, so much for reverse psycology and physiology... My BMI (Body Mass Index, for those don't know-ers) was 19 previously, underweight. I didn't dare check it now, it could be 17... The funny thing is I like to eat food like fast food and fei ju yok (ask any person who knows Cantonese), which is very fattening. Maybe because I burn more fats than I consume... Oh well, back to studying. No choice lar!!

Highlights for 12-18 May

Random Flashback

It was the day before Mother's Day (this year), me and my sister was just checking out the comic store at Cineleisure Damansara, which sells Gundam models (my undying obsession). There, they were playing a dubbed anime of some unknown show. So, me and my sister (she's Standard Six, by the way) were looking through the comics and suddenly we heard "!@#$ you!" from the tv. She was, well "innocent" and was staring straight at me. I just told her "You didn't hear a thing". She just nodded and we never spoke of it again.

Something you may not know

They say your brain is about the size of your fist put together. So theoratically speaking, the bigger your fist, the bigger your brain!! Right??

Sorry for the inconvenience...

Sorry to inform whoever check's this blog. I don't have a camera or handphone so this blog won't be as "picture/video-rich like the other blogs. I'm kinda new to this so whoever blogs or knows, please help me, especcially with the comment box coz I really dunno how to put that... Please help!!

LEO Basketball Competition

My team's el-capitan, senor Patrick planned on Tuesday for us to start training on Friday, 16 May. Yes, we're gonna skip school but who cares? It's just Teacher's Day... Not to mention today was all about pass year exam papers ( I regretted not skipping because my father let me). So, I asked my dad whether I can skip school. I explained why and my father agreed almost instantaneously, which was good for mostly it'll take SOME time for him to decide. But I didn't mention about training so when I asked him today, he just said " What training?? You should use your time to study. Training can be later." Drat, man. The training is very important and if I try to persuade, it'll be like asking a lion to grill beef steak for you: fatal. Darn it!! Gotta think of a way out of this...

My facebook account!!!

Like I mention in the previous post, some idiot hacked my facebook and started spamming disturbing stuff (by disturbing, I mean R-rated) to my fellow unwary friends and family. How am I going to get out of this, I don't know. So I did the easiest: I deactivated my account a left it there to rot in its cyber grave. I was so frustrated, but hey, everyone is. Timing could had never been better and just had to happen during exams. From now on, I think I'll just stick to Friendster and Blogspot only... Still damn ticked off...
