Yves Rossy, "Fusion Man"

I really admire this guy, Yves Rossy. I was reading through the Discovery Channel magazine and I saw this article named " Rocket Man". Curious, I flipped till I saw a man with wings flying over the Swiss mountains. Amazed, I kept on reading. Turns out, he's a commercial pilot of Switzerland and he's nicknamed "Fusion Man", I have no idea why. In order to fly, he wore an abestos suit like those F1 drivers to avoid his legs being cooked in the process. He also uses the cooling effect of the wind and high altitude to prevent him from getting too hot. His gadget of aviation consists of 4 jet engines and has a wing span of 2.5 metres. His invention can fly up to speeds of 299 km/hr, and that's really fast. To me, he's one of those ultimate inventors of all time. Man, do I want that!

Wedding Luncheon

Today, I had to miss the 1U outing to attend to a wedding luncheon at KL City. Relax, relax it's not me. Turns out that my distant aunt is married to a Brit, which was rather suprising. The Brit, named Paul (I can't give you his full name, identity safety, you know) had a 18 year-old daughter, Anna, and man are they tall... (well sorry for being short) Back to the topic, Anna is really a different person I thought Brit's were. For instance, she learns French last year, took this year off as a "holiday", and almost complety forgets everything she learnt, odd really. Not to mention, she isn't fond with the computer, which was really a jaw dropper. So for the luncheon, I was sitting with the "big boys and girls". So, two of my cousins, one 21 and married and the other which is 18, had a challenge to see who can drink more wine. They kept asking the waiter to refill the other one's cup when they're not around. After a mere two cups (I'm just saying), my 18-year old cousin had to bow out as her face was turning blushing red. So we, the people at that table labelled the 21-year old the devil for "torturing" her or better known as "Satan". He just coolly replied saying: " If I'm not wrong, Satan is a fallen angel, so I shouldn't have a tail nor horns nor the pitchfork. Because he is an angel, he should be leng zai, very handsome wan, and have a nice clean, white suit. Honestly, he's damn smart, and a good drinker. I think that's it, can't wait to play my game again. Signing out.

PMR is over!!

A bit tough to believe that PMR's over, honestly I don't feel much happier/ more free... After school, Henry and friends all went to play some basketball (haven't we all heard that?). So, they all go qiong me go play some ball but I refused, stating that I "have a date" with technology, in short, the computer. In return, they all zha gao me for not joining them, but who cares?? I mean I haven't been allowed to touch the computer since JULY, and that is a long way before the big event. So I balik, do regular day stuff, then spend the rest of my afternoon and evening on the computer. I was so engrossed into the game (C&C 3: Tiberium Wars) that after several missions, I look at the clock and realised I played for SIX AND A HALF-HOURS non-stop. Well, it may not seem long to some of you, but this was a new record for me. Then, I went out for dinner outside. Once I got down from the car, my body felt jumpy and I was flanking while walking, must be the radiation taken after 6 hours...

Soooo frustrated

Today, the HitZ Ford Ranger Cruisers came to my school!! It was damn cool, they were free Sting drinks, 4 funky dudes, and a whole lot of freebies!! One of the freebies that caught my eye was the "Good Living" shirt and *drum roll* FREE FOR TWO "Traffic Jam" tickets featuring Daughtry!!! I was so determined to get the tickets. So we had a contest, the "opposite game", involving words that differ from the action (e.g. big is putting your hands close together and small is otherwise). So the last three was Derek Alexander, Me and Joyce Wong. The HitZ Ranger, named "I forgot what" asked us to lat ( you know 'lat ta li, lat ta li tam plong!' that lat). Whoever gets the same with him is out. So, Derek was eliminated, leaving me and Joyce. I was so tensed that my heart was pounding like it can jump out of my chest any moment. So, we had our backs facing each other, and we did the "Birds, Rock and Water" game, with funny movements. I was leading 1-0 when disaster struck. I suddenly just spaced out and gave the other three rounds away... She was so damn happy, and I was so damn stupid (I actually swaped choices 3 times in a row to let her win). So, we got a picture with the Cruisers, and they're gonna post it soon lor. Anyways, it was just RM800 bucks worth as free tickets right, *sob* just 2 darn pieces of paper which cost RM800 T_T. I wish she could hand me one and hopefully not find this post... So frustrated that I couldn't imagine what would happen if I gotten those two slips of paper... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my luck

My parents are the "very strict, education ALWAYS comes first" type, so you guessed it, I can't touch the computer until the end of PMR. I mean it's 4 months and you want me to study now? Well, against them resistance is futile, not to mention if you try to bargain it will most likely get worst. So, I am currently under the "radar" posting this. But to think about it, me knowing me, I think it's better to shut me away from the computer. I mean, I am the eldest among my extended family in my father's side and the second eldest at my mother's. So I am the benchmark for all my cousins and siblings. My relatives expect more from me since my UPSR was so dissapointing ( I got 4 A's by the way, 2 B's for both my paper 2s and nearly FAILING Chinese ). I am damn pressured now, then there's scouts ( coz I wanna get Maju at least )and there's guitar for I am taking my exams next year ( though it's pretty far from now, I suck at guitar and don't want to let my teacher down ). So, this will be the last post for practically the next 4 months... Wish me luck...
