Exams...

Fear no more, nerdheads! Your skills can be put to the field once again this time! And I'm kinda
joining you guys
(in my still-feeble attempt to clinch a scholarship)

Anyways... well, it's day 3 since my precious phone got stolen... I'm still trying to swallow that bit of reality. Plus, my dad now has all the more of a reason to pummel my self-esteem even further into the mud. Oh well, to me it's just one of those screwed up days. Live with it

Sports Day '10

Well, this year was quite kickass... That's kinda all I can say. We kinda screwed up a bit here and there for Rumah Ungu when we marched but we still kicked some butt to get the silver medal. Nervousness lor... Nobody's perfect

Before the marching competition

After the marching competition
Zee was obviously elated

But the highlight of the day has to be the Scouts, hands down on this. Clarence and the fray made history by getting 1st in marching! Heck, Kadet Polis got third, and PKBM second, and that's quite rare of an occasion here in SMKDU.

With pride, he took his stride, reliving the past glory of the 73rd Petaling Scouts

Can't wait for next year...

Kudos to you, man. You really deserved it.

Mobile Suit: École du ciel!!

Yes! I can finally let my long-dormant inner Mecha freak loose!! No more browsing the supposed "free to read" mangas at Borders! I love you, Onemanga!

Next thing, thanks lots to Joyce for having that mini open house. It was very nice of you, albeit awkward. Besides her family and Patrick, who left early, I was the only Chinese there. Moreover, everyone else was wearing black and white... not-so-nice colour tones (but I guess they don't really know our customs...) Only Joyce and I wore yellow... Oh, and we had fortune cookies! I haven't had one since I was 9 years old! Mine said "Knowledge without practice is nothing". Or something like that... Then, we played badminton, yea at 3.40 under the hot sun. At 4, I had to run all the way back home to get ready for that night's dinner at my granduncle's place.

So, I guess that sums up what I did for the day before and yesterday... Can't wait till after the exams, then I can finally move into my new house!

Reflection of my conscience...

After what Joyce said today, I dunno... It got me thinking...

Well... One photo is enough to say what I mean.

Over a distance, is there anyone for me?

Gonna balik kampung soon for prayers. Will be back later tonight, hopefully I can make it for tomorrow's open house. Fingers crossed.

Continuation from my previous post

Now that my parents have gone for a long breakfast, I can post this. Yay me...
This vid was shown to me by my cousin (yes the one who Coked my shoes) when I was there. It's a parody on the Power Rangers and it's damn good. But the ending is quite grotesque and weird... Just watch alright?

Niu (cow in Mandarin, pun intended) Year has past... and what did I get?

Nothing much... Though I'm not complaining. I mean, I can't go against customs. So, we went to S'pore for our occasional getaway. So on Saturday night, we dined with my uncle's family at the Crystal Jade Restaurant at Changi Airport, and when we were loh-ing, my cousin knocked over his glass of Coke and it spilled all over my left foot. Sweetening my favourite RM260 Adidas Supernova Glide running shoes... not that I'm complaining. -Ish

On Sunday, we watched Percy Jackson at 11.30pm and it was quite good. Go watch it. Monday, was all about Bumper cars - on the Wii. My driving credentials have been confirmed. Ask my parents ^^

Anyways, gotta make this post brief cos of 3 things

1) My sister wanna read her manga
2) Gotta sleep di
3) Rest for tmrw's badminton game

Ciaoz for now ^^

Her Red Guitar...

Yea... That pretty much sums up what this week's about.

The VIP tickets that I WON from Astro were sick! I mean, we were just 2 metres away from him... Though I never did get to touch him when he did his 5-second crowd surf...

These are the ones taken by HitZ.fm during the autograph session

The Morning Crew, JJ and Ean with Kris

His band mates, Cale Mills(rhythm guitar/piano), Ryland Steen (drums), Chris Torres (bass) , and Andrew (lead guitar) is not in the pic

Yep, someone wants him for Valentine's

He certifies that his concert is gonna be two thumbs up

And he wasn't kidding

IT WAS A BLAST!!

We were kinda surprised to find Daniel inside, since he didn't have a ticket. Turns out the security guard gave him a free pass cos he asked, lucky dude...

Here are some of the pics that my bro took with our cheapo compact camera

He opened the show with "Heartless" with a twist of "Gangsta's Paradise"

He looked straight at the cam, to me that's WOW

I think he was playing "Red Guitar" then
Love that song

I also took some pics taken by other people

Once it ended, I found one of the 6 guitar picks that he chucked to the crowd laying on the floor. I was thrilled. Some sad case must've dropped it, but I didn't care. So now it lies safe and sound in my wallet, for bragging rights, of course...

After the concert Liang, Daniel, Sunshine and I took a pic outside the ballroom

We'll never forget this...

Moreover, we took a pic with Ean, but it was with another person's cam, so I couldn't find it...
Then after all that jazz, we were using the escalator to go down when we saw guess who?? MARION CAUNTER!! By then, I already lost half my voice, Sun was feeling awkward, and Liang was busy snapping shots with other people's cam so we couldn't ask her to pose with us. So... poor Daniel came to the rescue. I wish... Then, she just had to wink at me and Daniel... He was so mesmerised by her smile (or was it her skirt??) that he just went dumb... We begged him to chase her down and he did so, by wobbling like a penguin... So, we gave up and just headed home. You can't have everything right?

Anyways, for more pics and a bit on the concert, you can check this link (but I don't have the song list, sorry)

My hair isn't growing is it??

Yea... it's kinda true, in some twisted way... Maybe the UV rays killed all my skin cells on my scalp back then when I was bald...

Apart from that, I finally got some pics to post on Kempen Budi Bahasa, which was when?? Last last monday? About there la... My memory cells aren't fully functioning. Well, Sab only gave me the pics that have my face in it but, I'll just post them

Well, we were actually doing the Gaga equation but somehow, I turned into a squirrel instead

The Chinese princess, the tokoh wannabe, and the "Confused One"

Thein, Kevin and I living the 1 Malaysia concept

Me, Beng, Aiman, Sun, Thein, Atia and Joyce feeling the groove

A mixed bag of poses...

One big small happy family... well James just joined

This is the official big happy family
Kempas 09/10 baby!!

On another note, I heart Glee... It's so damn cool, hence this pic

I kinda got weird with the tongue but oh well...
