I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane......

I'm going to Bali tommorrow for 5 days. I know, it's dangerous, since there were bombings on 2002 and 2005, not to mention it could be a "three year one time" thing... So, with the recipe made up of "joy", "excitement", and a tad of "afraid" to my deadly cocktail, I hope that I'll be stirred rather than shaken (sorry James Bond). For that, I bid all bloggers and lackeys alike, farewell...

No Time Left

No worries, my time isn't up, YET. Its just that my timetable is pretty much cramped up due to the a mixture of scouts and vacations. So, I highly doubt I would be posting anything soon, you guys will just have to wait for the pics. Meena, sumimasen desuni (I hope I got that right...)

Taylor's University Creative Arts Workshop (Pt 2)

First of all, I am very sorry for delaying this post for 1... 2... holy sh!t! It's been THREE months already! Ok, back to work...

After a few days of turmoil (refer to the "Apology" post), I thought about posting all the pics at Picasa. So, I'll post the other half of the Taylor's College pics here and then from now onwards, move to Picasa. But for now, here's the rest.

They asked us to use this symbols to make a story based on "Jack and Jill"...

Everyone at their workstations

Once we were done, Mr. Charles posted the first few of our works

Thanks for the pic, Danny

Then it was Shao Wen's turn

Next it was Hui Ying's turn

Mr. Charles was enjoying it all the way

Then, after the "Jack and Jill" work, Mr. Charles gave us a few bundles of straws and asked us to create a tower taller than him but it can't touch the ceiling, which i pretty tough since the gap between them was really small. He even gave us a flag...

The other teams at work (sorry, I didn't take the teams outside...)

And there was our team...

In the end, the Malays won. I gotta admit their idea was simple yet efficient. Ours, on the other hand, was so much more complex...

End product of our efforts (note we're holding it) coz once we let go...

The winner groups work

CK comparing height...

After burning some grey matter, we got some crappy chow... don't tell them that

Yep, we ate at the "MOOR"

Main lobby of the college

After that, we went to the Arts Gallery, where I took 3 pics only before we left, and the pics were damn blurry cos no flash photography was allowed. Then, we balik lor...

Taylor's University Creative Arts Workshop (Pt 1)

On Thursday 30th October, we 3 Teratais (well, MOST of us) purposely came to school to attend our class trip to Karang Kraf in Shah Alam. When we reach school, we were informed that the Karang Kraf trip was cancelled to unknown reasons. Most of us just sat at the canteen dulan-ing after hearing this. A while later, Pn. Chang (did I get her name right?) came to inform us that we were going to Taylor's Unviersity College for a Creative Arts Workshop, which calmed us down a bit. So we departed at approx 7:45 in the morning. Ok, enough words, more pics right?

Music Connects, well Henry and Ban Joo lah

No points for guessing where we passed

Danny and Kevin, who was using his phone

This would be one of those "I don't wanna do for a lifetime" sort of things

I don't really know what was I thinking when I took this pic...

Alas, we reached our destination

A nice looking "idol" at the college

The fountain at back of the college

So stylo-mylo must have some different language I'm not sure of...

In the (I think) conference room

Part 2 will be coming up cause my com lag like hell now, not to mention there's lotsa pics.

My Apologies

Sorry, I didn't update for a while cause my computer crashed. It happened on Saturday, I was chiong-ing my C&C 3 game to test my turtling skills (it means base defending for those who were wondering). Half-way into the game my computer all of a sudden just hanged displaying a vibrant blue screen of immenent doom. So, I tried the Task Manager, which failed and then I try to swap programs and the taskbar menu, both which wasn't responding. I was left with no choice but to reset the computer. I left it to cool for a nice 30 minutes a then tried again. This time, the monitor didn't respond but the keyboard and mouse did. Unfortunately, because the computer's "safety feature", because the monitor wasn't responding, so did the rest of the components. I panicked and told my mom (who else??) about this problem. Next day, we went to Court's Mammoth to diagnose the problem. The "Dr. Digital" there told us that our CPU DVI port (graphics card) was faulty. So, we tried finding for a converter all around The Curve and Cineleisure to change the VGA port to DVI, which we couldn't find. Thankfully, the day after my mom found out that our warranty hasn't expired yet and call for the technician. And now, my blogging may resume. Yay!!
