That was it (yep, it has passed)

I actually like this cover more than the original

Just watched Michael Jackson's "This Is It". It was incredible how he does the entire concert, even though it was just rehearsals. What I admired the most about the music crew was how they could instantaneously play his songs with the point of his finger (like in "The Way You Make Me Feel", plus the talent to spontaneously play any lick or musical piece that he wants to hear without him giving any pointers. He was super meticulous with the arrangement of all his performances. He's so hardcore to the point that if one beat or note was off, he'll just stop on the spot and point it out. I thought that that part of the movie all the performances was incredible enough, till I noticed the guitarist beside him in, I think the performance was "Beat It".

There she is, roughly just a metre away from him

With striking long blond hair (Shh... Sabr), long legs and a hot rod guitar she strode alongside the King of Pop while shredding and strumming along with his songs. She was amazing, not to mention hot. I thought: "I got to know her name".

And I just realised now that I seemed to have absorbed some of that "gaga-over-some-celeb" vibe from Sabr and Atia... Oh crap... I sound more like a girl now, just in a boy's body and hooked on a female...

Check out that hot body cool guitar

Damn she's hot

Note: I'm a teenager with a very sufficient amount of testosterone, mind you

Ok, back to the story. Then they showed how they filmed the 3-D vids on the backdrop while MJ was dancing in front/ at the back with the dancers. The most memorable to me was "Smooth Criminal" and "Thriller". In the former, he re-enacted the scene in classic noir style with some cool dance moves and effects here and there. For "Thriller", they remade the grave full of new more freaky looking ghouls. I thought my bro would be scared sh!tless cos he watched "Phobia 2" a few days ago, but he wasn't... Dang...

Anyways, it was an incredible show. One of my favourites being the one with the armoured cop look-alikes, I kinda forgot the song title, my bad. The cool feature the producers showed was how they used just 11 men and multiplied all of them to look like thousands, and no two were alike. CGI really does wonders, huh?

All in all, I say this show is a must watch for any music enthusiast, if you aren't a MJ fan to start. I may have missed out a few star parts of the movie, sorry that I only have a humans' memory capacity. But, still I must say I only truly, truly appreciated him after watching this movie. His talent, is otherworldly, absolutely divine.

Rest in peace, MJ. And I end this post with the King of Pop's original quote: "God Bless you all". We will sincerely miss you, for now and forever...

P.S: For the ultra detailed version of the movie, read this Wiki post.
